Does this fit your furnace?
This filter is for HVAC slots labeled 16x20x1 (the standard "nominal" size). The actual filter measures 15.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches — slightly smaller than nominal so it slides cleanly into the slot without binding.
To confirm fit:
- Pull out your current filter from the unit.
- Look for the size printed on the cardboard frame — typically the nominal size (16x25x1, 20x25x1, etc.).
- If you can't find a size label, measure the slot opening with a tape measure. The nominal size should be ½ inch larger than your slot dimensions in each direction.
