Does this fit your furnace?

This filter is for HVAC slots labeled 20x25x4 (the standard "nominal" size). The actual filter measures 19.5 x 24.5 x 3.75 inches — slightly smaller than nominal so it slides cleanly into the slot without binding.

To confirm fit:

  1. Pull out your current filter from the unit.
  2. Look for the size printed on the cardboard frame — typically the nominal size (16x25x4, 20x25x4, etc.).
  3. If you can't find a size label, measure the slot opening with a tape measure. The nominal size should be ½ inch larger than your slot dimensions in each direction.
